Founder of Conlan Cummings, Gerard has been practising law and seeking positive outcomes for his clients for over 50 years.
An accredited specialist in commercial and business law, and a highly respected advocate, Gerard has vast experience across various legal areas and built a practice based on first-class, expert, honest advice, and quality representation in and out of court.
Gerard graduated with Honours in Law from the University of Melbourne and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 1971. He started his career at a city law firm, working in various fields of the law. He established his own firm in Essendon in 1979, and in 1990 was one of the first lawyers to be accredited as a business law specialist by the Law Institute of Victoria.
In 2016, he welcomed his daughter, Elizabeth Cummings, as a partner in the practice.
