Simon is an experienced and accomplished commercial lawyer specialising in business law and disputes. He aims to understand his client's commercial objectives as early as possible, and provide realistic advice and strategic, considered legal options that are cost-effective and tailored to his client's needs.
Aware of the stress that clients often experience during legal disputes, his goal is to help ease their burden, and move them towards a positive resolution, whether via settlement strategy or court action.
Simon also applies his background in commercial litigation to his meticulous and analytical approach to drafting and reviewing business contracts.
Simon has a vast amount of experience across different legal jurisdictions. He qualified as a solicitor in the UK in 1994 and holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Warwick. He moved to Australia in 2010 before joining Conlan Cummings in 2011.
