Kent Jones
Lawyer
Kent joined Conlan Cummings in 2024 after being admitted as a lawyer by the Supreme Court of Victoria in October 2023.
His areas of practice include family law, probate and estate law, and commercial law. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.
Prior to joining the firm, Kent worked as a management accountant and consultant for nine years. His work with family-based clients led to his interest in family and corporate law.
Kent’s background in management consulting and his problem-solving, analytical, financial management, and accounting skills add another dimension to his ability to assist clients with family legal issues.
Kent’s aim is always to achieve exceptional results for clients, to ensure they are informed and kept up-to-date, and to assist them as seamlessly as possible through the complexities of their legal and financial matters.
In addition to his law qualifications, Kent holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Science from Monash University and is a Member of the Institute of Management Consultants. He has also trained as an Australian Army Reservist, speaks German, has undertaken a Certificate III in AUSLAN, and volunteers as a treasurer for a charity operating a low-cost animal clinic in Sunshine.
